International trainings

Scouts go Solar organizes annual training sessions for scout leaders from one region of the world. The aim is to impart knowledge about solar energy and to anchor Scouts go Solar in national scout organizations.

The last training session took place in Egypt in July 2025. It is currently being clarified where the training will take place in 2026.

Scouts go Solar is a joint project of Solafrica and World Scouting (WOSM). It was supported by Greenpeace during the start-up phase. Since its beginnings, there has been close cooperation with the Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) and numerous national scouting organizations.
