How we work
We promote the use of solar energy in economically disadvantaged regions of the global South by working closely with local partner organisations. Because we are convinced that sustainable change can only succeed if solutions are developed jointly and rooted in the local context.
Through vocational training, infrastructure and awareness-raising, we create the conditions for solar energy to have an impact – where it is needed. This creates prospects for disadvantaged people and at the same time protects the climate: locally anchored, sustainable and future-proof.
Education
Infrastructure
We install solar infrastructure for shared facilities and productive applications. This improves basic services, productivity and income. At the same time, dependence on fossil fuels is reduced.
awareness raising
We provide knowledge, motivation and concrete options for action on solar energy in Switzerland and worldwide. In this way, solar energy is used more widely and support from society, business and politics is growing.
