A key reason for this is not only a lack of access to technology, but also a lack of awareness of energy and climate issues. People who are not aware of the benefits of solar energy are unlikely to support it, use it or spread the word in their own environment.
For the energy transition to make progress worldwide, we need more than just technical solutions. It needs people who understand the connections, take responsibility and support renewable energies in their everyday lives, in their communities and in political processes.
This is precisely where our awareness raising work comes in. We make solar energy tangible, impart practical knowledge and demonstrate concrete options for action. This not only creates greater acceptance for renewable energies, but also the ability to become active oneself. Raising awareness strengthens the ability to act, creates local responsibility and is therefore a decisive lever for a fair and sustainable energy future.
Our awareness raising work combines information with concrete experience. We show how solar energy can improve everyday life, how it strengthens educational opportunities and how renewable energies open up new economic prospects.
At the same time, we are making it clear that the energy transition worldwide is also a question of global justice. After all, access to energy determines education, health, economic development and social participation in many regions.
