Solar Ambassadors
Solar Ambassador Training for Scout Leaders
Our solar training takes place in a different region of the world each year, for Scout leaders from different countries in that region. For 2023, there were for once two trainings, in Africa and Latin America. For 2024, the training will be in the Asia-Pacific region. The future Solar Ambassadors will not only learn how to use solar energy and understand solar technology but will also receive strategic input on how to implement Scouts go Solar in their local Scout organizations.

Solar training course for Swiss scout leaders
As part of Scouts go Solar Switzerland, a weekend course for scout leaders from Switzerland takes place annualy, in 2024 in September.

Solar suitcase
Follow the construction manual to build your own solar suitcase. As a first step, have a look at the material list. A good accessory for a solar suitcase could be a solar campfire (see below).
Solar campfire
Build your own sun-powered campfire, which you can use in various situations: For example, as an indoor campfire, as an alternative campfire when open fire is banned, or as a cooling fan in tropical regions.
It is best combined with a solar suitcase (see above).
Solar Art Disc Manual
The solar turntable is a great tool for an information stand and a great activity for children.
Energy Card Game
The Energy Card Game visualises the power consumption of household appliances. At the same time, it encourages people to think about how overall consumption can be reduced.
Sun & Fun Park Guide
Sun & Fun-Park is an activity for young and old. The games need very little to no instruction and support.
It offers a good introduction to the topic of solar energy and is also suitable for promotional events.
Scout Leader Starter Kit
The starter kit for group leaders is part of the solar training at the KISC. The material list and the manual can be interesting for anyone who organizes activities or experiments for groups.
Solar Center Box
Here you will find a list of materials for various activities. It is an extended starter kit with even more possibilities, but not so mobile activities.
