Your donation makes a difference
Your donation creates prospects for disadvantaged people and helps protect the climate. Thanks to your support, solar systems, educational opportunities and innovation are created – together with the local people. You strengthen structures that have a long-term impact beyond the projects themselves.
With your donation, you bring solar power to schools, enable training for young professionals and ensure that knowledge is anchored in the long term. Every contribution is targeted to where it is needed – directly, transparently and effectively.
With 85 francs
for example, you can finance a toolkit for practical solar training in Kenya.
With 150 francs
For example, you can finance a solar panel on a health center in West Africa.
With 500 francs
For example, you can contribute to the monthly salary of a teacher for solar education in Tanzania.
Your donation makes a difference in the lives of young people
"It's not easy to work as a woman in a male-dominated field. But if you believe in yourself, you can do it!"
- Damaris Kamau
Damaris Kamau applied for an apprenticeship at the Solar Learning Youth Centers project in Kenya. With the support of the project team, she gained self-confidence and recognition in the male-dominated solar sector.
In our Solar Learning Ethiopia project, we have so far been able to train over 300 solar technicians who are now disseminating solar energy in rural areas. Around
30,000 people.

Solafrica is recognised as a non-profit association and Zewo-certified. In most cantons of Switzerland, donations to Solafrica can be deducted from taxes. Your donation will be used where it is most urgently needed.
“With its projects and ideas, the Solafrica organization has grown close and dear to my heart. For me, Solafrica stands for a social, communal and ecological future. I would particularly like to emphasize that Solafrica's projects give people in less privileged countries the opportunity to shape their own energy future in an ecologically sensible way. I am therefore very pleased to be a part of Solafrica with my donations.”
